Description

This 1.8-liter, 700 W Sankey rice cooker takes care of everyday rice without anyone needing to hover over the stove. It’s enough for about eight servings, plenty for a family meal, and switches itself to keep-warm mode as soon as the rice is ready, so it can be left cooking while the rest of lunch comes together.

Features

  • Unit format, 1.8-liter capacity.
  • 700 W power.
  • Non-stick, removable inner pot.
  • Automatic switch to keep-warm mode.
  • Includes measuring cup and serving spoon.

Use it by measuring the rice with the included cup, rinsing it separately if you prefer it without excess starch, and adding water at the usual ratio before setting the inner pot in the base and closing the lid. Once switched on, the cooker runs at high heat until the water evaporates, then the sensor picks up the change and switches on its own to keep-warm mode, with no need to watch the clock or judge the exact cooking point. That same mode keeps the rice warm and ready to serve for hours after cooking, handy when mealtimes in the house don’t quite line up and people eat in shifts throughout the evening. The non-stick pot lifts out for washing separately from the electric body, which should never be submerged in water.

It comes with a measuring cup and a heat-resistant plastic serving spoon, designed not to scratch the non-stick coating on the inner pot, unlike a metal spoon pulled from the regular cutlery drawer. Store the electric body with the cord coiled in a dry place, and let the pot dry fully before putting it away to avoid odors.
